In the autumn of 2019, I had the privilege of a week in residence at Rockvale Writers’ Colony in middle Tennessee. A number of poems from Tell the Turning found their shape there.
Black Dog Poetry is an established group of writers drawn from RWC’s home place and helmed by RWC founder (and poet, and artist) Sandy Coomer. Since the beginning of the pandemic, they’ve gone online and expanded their guest list of both readers and listeners. They welcome a featured poet to each monthly gathering. This month, that’s me!
I’ll read for about 25 minutes at the start of the hour. There’s an open mic after. You are invited to attend the reading and, if you wish, bring a poem to share. Here’s the Zoom link. I would love to see (and perhaps hear) you there!
Yay! I hope to be there! (by which, I mean, I have it written down and I plan to, but we’ll see how the day goes when it’s here)
